Wallpaper
This gorgeous Eleanor Bowmer ‘Let’s Play’ wallpaper was the starting point for the colour palette and fruity theme. It’s such a fun and bold pattern, perfect for either a girls or a boys room!

Paint
We used Lick paint {pr products} throughout the nursery.
I wanted the walls to be colourful in the nursery, but to still have white space to add lots of accessories, prints and shelving. We decided to add dado rails half way up walls, and painted them in Pink 12 along with the skirting boards. This is one of my favourite Lick pink shades, and picks out the lovely coral shades in the wallpaper.
We painted the bottom half of the walls in Blue 13 for a bold contrast, and White 06 for the top half (this was a great colour match to the background of the wallpaper).
For the rest of the woodwork, including the built-in wardrobe and door frame, we used Pink 03, which is a softer baby pink. We used this in the living room in our previous home and it’s such a calming shade!

Boori Cot
After lots of research, we went for the gorgeous Boori Oasis Oval Cot in Beech {pr product}. Not only is it visually stunning with its unique round design, it’s also super practical and durable.
Featuring a height-adjustable base, it’s designed to grow with your child and convert to a toddler bed and then to a toddler sofa as your little one transitions from infant to toddler.
I’ve styled the cot with a pink bed canopy (this one is very affordable compared to others on the market) and the most gorgeous rainbow cloud mobile which includes all the beautiful colours in the wallpaper.
Sticking with the fruity theme, I came across a range of affordable fruit cushions from George at Asda, including a peach, strawberry, lemon and apple which I couldn’t resist buying!

Changing Station
We created our own ‘changing station’ with these statement green rattan drawers (these drawers are always in and out of the sale so make sure to hold out for a bargain!) and an Olli Ella oval changing basket. For inside the drawers, I used a mixture of extendable dividers and IKEA boxes to organise her clothes and toiletries.
Above the changing station, I made a little feature wall with statement green, yellow and lilac mirrors. They’re so much fun and again pick out some of the lovely colours in the wallpaper.

Checkered Rug
When I started creating the moodboard for the nursery last year, I had always envisaged a checkered rug. After searching and searching online, I found this gorgeous authentic Moroccan rug which seemed to be slightly more affordable than others on the market. There are lots of different colour and size options available from this seller… we went for the yellow 4ft x 6 ft checkered rug to fill the remaining floor space.
As these rugs are being dispatched from Morocco, bear in mind they may take a few weeks to arrive!

Nursing Chair
We tried out many nursing chairs, and the comfiest by far was the Mamas & Papas Bowdon nursing chair. It’s available in a couple of colours and there’s also the option to have a matching footstool. We went for blush velvet, which has a lovely lilac tone.
Next to our nursing chair, we have a cute toadstool rattan basket to store toys and blankets.

Accessories
We put up two IKEA book shelves on each side of the room. As well as books, we’ve used these shelves to display jellycat soft toys, our gorgeous baby record book, fruity garland {pr product} and prints!
Next to two of the bookcases, we created a mini gallery wall, featuring a cute tulip banner and ‘wild thing’ print hung on the sweetest wooden cherry hooks. I also moved my favourite ‘you’re doing great sweetie’ print in here, along with a gorgeous embroidered beetle hanging.
On the other side of the room, underneath the dado rail, we added a wooden peg hanger, styled with rattles, macrame rainbow and strawberry banner.

I’m very happy with how our baby girls’ nursery has turned out… seeing your vision come to life just the way you imagined is magical!
We’re so excited for our little girl to arrive and to see her colourful room evolve over time!
